APPLICATION WILL REACH AFTER 1 JAN, 400 FEE PAID

I get it! It's what they do. Still, it's not fair! (for which you don't seem to have any opinion)

APPLICATION WILL REACH AFTER 1 JAN, 400 FEE PAID

Hmm...and I have naively thought that the government of the people, for the people, will have something to do with fairness, at least tangentially. I guess I was wrong!

APPLICATION WILL REACH AFTER 1 JAN, 400 FEE PAID

Yes, you can backdate your application form, but you cannot backdate the postal stamp. So, the fact that you sent it before Jan 1, 2015 and the postal stamp proves that, and considering that the option to pay $630 was not even active on the website (in 2014, at the time of expedition), isn't it...

APPLICATION WILL REACH AFTER 1 JAN, 400 FEE PAID

Well, at least that will be the logical and correct thing to do...There is an updated table on the fees option where you can pay up the $230 difference if you already paid the $400, but i think it's for those that have not yet submited their applications as of Jan 1, 2015. Otherwise, it will...

Citizenship Fees has changed and documents have been already sent.

Maybe the option is for those who already paid 400 but have not yet sent their application.

Citizenship Fees has changed and documents have been already sent.

Woldn't have been easier to have pasted your response from the other thread here, in the first place, instead of making general, empty statement? Or do you consider yourself so famous to think that people are going to look at all your post from different topics/threads?

APPLICATION WILL REACH AFTER 1 JAN, 400 FEE PAID

CIC says: "Effective January 1, 2015 at 12:01am, Citizenship processing fees for adult grant applications will increase from $300 to $530". This means, in my book, that if the application date on your application form is Jan 1, 2015 or after, you have to pay the incresed fee, regardless of the...

Citizenship Fees has changed and documents have been already sent.

As far as you know from where...from reading in the stars? Include some facts or a logical analysis in your opinion, don't just say stuff to feel important! You're not bringing any valuable information for those in search of it!

After 36 months: I go for Mandamus! Who else here has hired a lawyer?

Just basic questions. How many times did you get out of the country, and why. What have you been doing since you are in Canada...It was very short...less than 5 minutes. Checked my id's, and told me that a Jundge will make a decision between 2-4 months.

    RQ before test

I was RQ'ed before test, in summer 2013. In Dec 2013 I received "notice to appear and write test" in Jan 2014 (passed test). Question: did they process my RQ and as a consequence they invited me to the test, or my time for the test just came about, and they will decide on the RQ later on...

After 36 months: I go for Mandamus! Who else here has hired a lawyer?

A case in point is where a lot of RQs got letters in Dec 2013 asking them to be ready for a test while a lot of others with similar profiles never got such letters. I got directly "Letter to Appear and write the test" although from what I see, most of the RQ receivers, first get "letter to...

Feb 2014 test & interview passers

Hi, I'm from Montreal office. RQ'd in May 2013, test passed Jan 2014, waiting for oath. Officer at interview told me it takes another 3-4 months until oath. First a CJ must take a decision on the file.

"Notice to Prepare for your Citizenship Exam"?

I've also been RQ'd in May 2013, but I got directly "notice to appear and write test" for Jan 2014. No "notice to prepare" was sent to me. Also, I was told by officer after the test, that my file is going to be sent to CJ for decision, which will take 3-4 months!
