Can anybody help me out as to after how many days after medical exam in delhi,India, the status update of Medical received happens in the ECAS. I've been asking this question for 2 days, but nobody is ready to help me our. Please help......

When did u get it medical done,bro? How much time does it normally takes after the medical tests to get the status update on the ECAS. I had done mine last Friday I.e 19th and no change in status yet. Should that be a cause of worry?

Leo1134, I've one last question for you. Did your returned application had some UCI no. mentioned on it? Just to confirm whether having a UCI no means anything positive or not. Thanks again. By the way, have u sent your application back yet. U need to do that immediately without wasting any time.

Leo1134, thanks for the details. I can well understand your situation as are also more or less in same condition. The problem.is that my brother wudn't even know the status of application till he gets it back or gets charged, the chances for which looks less now. There is no other way we can...

Thanks Pepto, for the detailed explanation. You have clarified on a lot of things. Now we know that we have to just keep our fingers crossed and wait. Having a UCI doesn't give any kind of assurance. Thanks once again and explanation really appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I think things are getting clearer for us now. So we have to just keep waiting! I still wish there could've been some system for tracking the status of your application, instead of just sitting blank and waiting & waiting! Anyways, Thanks once again.

Thanks for the information, Marta. So having a UCI doesn't signify anything. Only we have to wait for the ECAS status to be updated or application file to be returned due to some reason. S, he has to just wait and as rightly said, keep his fingers crossed. Thanks one again for replying.

Hi jigzyy. Islandbabe and other senior members, I think we have another question for the FAQ UCI created even for rejected applications? If yes, what does the ECAS status of such applicants show_ does it identify their UCI and gives some status update or its just not accessible for such cases...
