i kind of took that communication to mean AOR, i mean they requested further information so clearly they have received the application even if they dint use the exact words.

am not sure i received an AOR, per se - on August 28 2012, cic requested me to re submit some info. We did resubmit the info and when we called to confirm if they received the updated form, the agent was alil confused and said everything seemed to be in order and all required info had already...

i just got off the phone with cic myself, and the have COMPLETED the process!!! i got DM. The agent said an interview date had been set for Sept 16th and i should expect communication withinthe next day or two. Am over the moon!!! ;D :D There may still be hope of our January trip back home

hey guys, Just thought i'd share abit of news. I received my OWP today. I had to submit a paper application and actually received it BEFORE the stated 55days on the website. My application was received 26th June. Hope that gives some hope to all those who have applied for OWP recently.

aargh!! 90 days ??? I got my AIP back in October, i cant believe how much time i've wasted "being patient", CIC really need to sort out their website, as well as what their agents tell people. Anyway I've applied for it, just have a whole lot more of being patient in my future. :'(
