This sounds like fantasy under today's CIC management. This is definitely not representative of the majority (or even the minority) of applications processed at CIC (whether for PR renewal or for citizenship)

Some good news for you, though it's sad CIC is this slow. Call centre mentioned to a friend that they are currently mailing acknowledgement for applications received April 23. Give it three more weeks before sending a second one.

Sorry to hear about your frustration. I want to inform you that it's typical for CIC to take more than a couple of months to send acknowledgment of receipt, so don't lose hope yet. I would have advised you to send your application via registered mail, at the least, but it's too late for that...

I actually agree with you. I will relay this feedback to the publishers. I am sure they would be open to release a free version of the app with ads. In fact, I am not sure why they haven't done that to begin with. That model seems to be much more attractive to both the publisher and the user.

I don't understand how $2 can be so significant. We all like free apps, but most free apps come with ads. This app is ad free. The time this app saves you on a daily (or weekly, or however frequently you check your ECAS) is worth more than $2.
