Applicant from PhD program after 5 Nov, 2011 connect here to get status

How did you guys pay the fee? I got confused: Guide 7000 prefers online payment. But there is no option for federal skilled workers on the online payment webpage (only Quebec skilled worker). Shall I just use IMM 5620 and do not need to send them a receipt of online payment? Thank you.

Online payment perferred in the guide but not available on the payment webpage

In Guide 7000, it says "Payment of fees online is the preferred method of payment." But there is no option for skilled worker on the online payment webpage... How should I pay? The checklist mentions both payment form IMM5620 and a copy of the receipt. Shall I do both of them? Thanks.

But I am still trying to figure out what is the safest number hrs/week as my RA is from 2009 to now and I do not need plenty of points from work experience. Satisfying the minimum work experience is enough for me.

Thank you for sharing this template. But I have a question: who should issue such a letter? Looks like it's from the PhD supervisor. Is the research supervisor, just a prof, sufficient? I was thinking somebody like the department head. Anyone with positive experience of using a work experience...
