Can you sent the link of the website? I couldn't find in CGI Toronto site. For sure $80 is very good for kids instead of $425 for 5 years. It makes sense even if in future they have to stay in India for more than 6 mths. OCI can be applied even from India.

Is 5 year Visa newly introduced? $80 for 5 years Visa looks good to me and serves the purpose as well. Unless kids intend to stay more than 6 months.

Thanks for the tip. I uploaded the documents and now realised that I didn't do self attestation of myself and my wife on the documents. Can I do self attestation on the copies I submit? or do I have to scan the documents again and do self attestation?

I resbumitted the application after attaching the requested documents. I just wrote on top of the letter CIC sent that i am attaching the requested documents and signed. Didn't provide any covering letter. Not sure what point #14 is now but if you can't provide that I think you need to provide a...

Hi little star, i resent the application with the Birth Certificate translation along with the CIC letter. I didn't open the stapled completed applications. It worked. I just got my Oath invite too. Good luck ! Regards Venugopal

I recently renewed our family PR Cards and we got the new cards within a week of submitting the application. It is a normal PR Card renewal application with flight tickets attached. I also submitted a covering letter explaining the urgency. Please write URGENT on the envelope.

I suggest you renew your PR cards and come back and take your Oath. Renewal of PR cards takes maximum of 2-3 weeks only.
