My application was received on 5th May 2014 so i should be waiting in line before 10th May applicants :D

My ECAS status was updated on 5 September 2014 and following line was added 2. We started processing your application on 2 September 2014. After that no update. Waiting for MR

It is a FD account on my spouse's name since last 2 years.

Hi, If local VO asks for POF, is it fine to show amount from one more account in addition to the accounts used earlier (at time of applying)? Thanks

Yes i checked it before applying for FSW. Actually my wife is from different state so her name has to be removed from the documents like ration card from there and then added to my permanent address (this will take couple of months) and afterwards we can apply for new passports. :(

Thanks for sharing your experience. What if I mention 'Single' in the application and get PCC issued from passport office. I have seen some PCCs without spouse name.

Updating the passports will take couple of months.

Hi Guys, My wife's passport and mine are not updated with spouse's name. So while applying for PCC from passport office online, what should be filled in Marital Status field (Single or Married). Have anyone faced such situation while applying for PCC from India? Pls suggest Thanks

My case status updated "We started processing your application on September 2"

But it's mentioned in the checklist that IELTS result shouldn't be older than 2 years when received by CIO, not when they open the application

My application reached CIO on May 5 2014 and IELTS was valid till 26 May 2014 and I received PER. I don't understand why his application was rejected for this reason.

Period of stay isn't mentioned as it is not for a particular address. Issued date is mentioned in the PCC. I haven't applied for PCC yet but you can search for it's format online
