    It's not a great sign if your application is sent to LA. I know someone who had a similar situation as their application went back and forth between LA and Ottawa. Eventually they got called in for an interview in LA. Good luck.

    How about if both spouses cohibit together in the US for a during of 4 months before returning to Canada. Is that considered violating the Conditional Permanent Residency? Would you need to inform them in case they do a quality assurance audit? Thanks.

    From my understanding, there's no reason to apply for a travel document entering Canada as I assume the spouse is a US Citizen with a US passport.
