Did you get AOR,what is the status of your file?

I saw the update on online tracker and finally background verification is completed after 2 years and 5 months. Now waiting for the next step hopefully it goes smooth and quick.

Have not heard anything on my file since October 2019 when I receive AOR. No, I am from Mississauga. I have not hired a lawyer yet

yes, everything is in progress (Language, eligibility etc.)

the criminality is passed and valid (GCMS notes and MP office response), security verification is in progress.

Anyone from July 2019 applicant waiting for the test invitation? I am July 2019 applicant, received AOR on 27th, September 2019. Still waiting for test invitation. Reached out MP, webform, called IRCC no update.

Note: I got married in October 2020 almost a year after i received the AOR in Sep 2019. I haven't updated my marriage status as i was thinking updating the marriage status could delay the process and I was hoping that i will receive the update soon on my application but that didn't happen...

One thing i am worrying about that I have not updated my marriage status yet which I got married last year. Reason to not update the marital status as I was hoping that I will get the citizenship soon and updating the status will further delay my application.
