My bro is submitting his case and for some reason 24 dec is the date , he is going to receive his bank statement , which courier is the quickest to send application by 31 december. And also, is 31 dec the last date of 2014 application submission .Thanks

It depends on how long it will take you to get your passport , and whether the authorities will renew you passport in advance while it is still valid for another 9 months. If the authorities agree to provide you passport instead of the 9 months validity and they do so in not more than 2 weeks ...
