    Just want to say - STAY STRONG Me and my partner applied Sept 2013... got PR in March this year... It was a hellish process to say the least. But we made it, and you will too guys. On the bright side, going through a process like this shows real character. Good luck to you all.

    she landed... we're done asked a few basic questions... 50 minutes total wait time + interview time we were told pr card is being mailed and we must wait 22 days for it. feels so good.... thanks to everyone on here

IEC / PGWP holders who have their permits expire are covered under implied status if they submit OWP with their PR app. IEC/PGWP do not qualify for extensions but the OWP is a different type of work permit.     Yeah makes sense..maybe if the applicant is older or there were some anomalies on the expired medical results..then they'd want them redone... In our case, she's quite healthy 27 years old...probably not a risky 'profile' in that regard. Hard to believe that this thing will be all over next...

    I never received the email confirmation of the receipt but i logged on to the link provided above and i printed it out I have two receipts..for for $150.00 - that was probably the OWP fee. and one for $1040 i cant remember why i paid $1040...i thought that the fee was only $490

    No physical letter. Got aip email wednesday ( only 1/2 of the email... sponsor got email..applicant did not) then on Friday applicant got DM email... Also, The online thing shows "DM" for both applicant and sponsor log in thing on friday as well.
