In my case, VFS people told Passports will be returned within 15-20 days. Hence my personal opinion is to immediately submit ur passport for stamping and postpone ur official tour (if possible, bcosu know it better) for 20 days. BCOS you have come this long way and why to hold the whole process...

@arkscan, Actually, they asked me to send PCC, RPRF and PPT bio pages on 4th september. DD has been taken on 29th september and reached NDVO by 30th Sep. On 9th april, NDVO asked to submit MR and updated bio pages of ppt only and NOT another RPRF. ::) Bank officer asked me to check by monday...
