    My friend was at NY Consulate today to submit his Visitors visa application. He was told the normal processing time is 53 days. NY Consulate website isnt upto date with this information. :o

    NY consulate received my PP on 20th May. I need to travel on 12th June. So I guess I dont have many options but to request for urgent processing or withdraw the application.

    I am planning to visit Embassy next week and request for urgent processing as I need to travel to Canada on 12th June. Withdrawing application would mean that may give me passport without the new visa, right?

    I am in same boat. SEnt my passport on 16th May evening. They received on 20th May. Looks like they are still processing passports received around 3rd May. I have to travel on 12th June. Fingers crossed!!
