Sometimes it takes more time. The status has changed Jan 6 evening India time and received end of the day Jan 8th. Dropped at VFS on Dec 16 and it was sent to Dec 17. Good luck. Thanks,

Passport was finally received around 6.30PM local time, and the best thing is that it is approved and 10 years. Really happy right now and my wife is on cloud 9. Thanks for all the support so far.

Okay, now I got the email from VFS that the passport is dispatched. Fingers crossed. Did not receive the msg with the tracking number from blue dart yet. Any idea how long it will take to receive the passport now? Waiting big time. Thanks,

There is no guarantee that they would. They never said they would either. If you send them any originals, they will for sure, but otherwise they may not. If I were you and if all the documents are not originals, I would let it go. You are only creating more work for them. Thanks,
