:D got the magic PPR email this last Wednesday July 24 at 5:30 pm...my appplication was received on March 08, 2012. My ecas change from in progress to desicion made the same day..... I really hope for a rapid completion of all the remainig processes. Keep the faith.....

Congrats Pari..... It seems that every time someone ask for good news, he or she receive the ppr that day... Following same idea.... We need more good news... Now wait and see.... :)

Would be a good idea to CC the letter including all signatures to Chris Alexander (@Chicka). Maybe he will at least take a look. I am guessing he has no idea about what is happening with the backlog. Does the change of minister mean a faster solution to our process? don’t know... but I will...

Hi guys... I am tryin to apply for a TRV but I don't want to send my passport in case I receive my ppr... So I want to apply online but the website is not working, I have tried for a couple of days.. Has anyone recently applied for a TRV???

I just saw in a different forum that someone call CIC to ask about the strike. The answer was that nothing has been affected for offices within Canada, only abroad. Kind of good news you may say....

I really don't think its related to the nationality... There are many of us with different nationalities still waiting... Besides it was not just your friend, many other november applicants have received PPR in the last few days.... Really unfair and frustrating!!!....
