thank you!! we got our COPR on Tuesday and are in process of getting everything ready for the move! this is so exciting! finally the wait is over! Hope everyone else is getting the good news and preparing to be with their loved ones!

well this definitely gives me a little bit of hope! Our app is from the states as well and office CPP-Ottawa but I've gotten no responses :( its been way too long, and CPP needs to get on it!

I emailed Ottawa for the status on our application but received nothing but "your application is in process" Does anyone know if by calling them I would get more information on the application status? ::) Hope we all get positive answers soon! :D

i really wish they were more focused on updating our 2nd stage statuses instead of their website :P but no news here, still waiting :-X

That is the same update we got as well. No sign of AOR from Visa office but on the SA email they wrote that the file has been transferred. Hopefully we hear something soon!

Capri_can we got an email attachment letter that stated that we were approved and that we met all the requirements. It also stated that application for perm. residence has been forwarded to the visa abroad and gives the Ottawa visa address and contact information. Hope that helps!

Our says "application received" but we got an SA in an email that states that my hubby has been approved to sponsor me... but they never updated our status either. we got approved on the 3rd of July. Nothing further than that. Been wondering what the next step is and keep checking Ecas! :-X

Thaliada i think that means they sent you snail mail. That's what I have been reading, if you haven't received an email more than likely its on its way! :) yay! finally congrats! :D

usually that means that they received your file and assigned the UCI number for you. At least that is how it was for us, and than about a week later we received another email saying sponsorship approved. Hope that helps! Alma
