Hello! Does my husband have keep extending his visitor's visa, when we are waiting for a reply back, after our application has been sent to CIC? The acceptance for him to have Canadian status could take up to 12 months. Does this mean that he has to keep paying the $75, every 3 months or so...

Hello! I get laid off for 2 months of the year (July and August), and I want to collect EI for those 2 months. Will collecting EI effect me sponsoring my husband? We also have a 18 month old son, who is Canadian.
