how is ur file still under Application Received? .. haven't u done any kind of inquiry of any sort? it's already been 12 months for you since the application was filed

My wife's passport was requested on May 28th and IP was on Oct 10th, which is close to 5 months .. so it's pretty normal & also considering the holiday season it seems just about ok.

not having atleast a passport request 7 months into an application is very concerning and depressing .. are u sure you havent missed it?

hey buds, yes the file was in process from Oct 10th, Decision Made on Nov 1st, Passport with Visa on Nov 6th

hey roger, it varies from case to case .. but in my wife's case she got her Passport Request on May 28th, she sent her PP on June 14th, & she received the passport today (i.e November 6th) with visa .. so approx 4 1/2 months after she sent the Passport

I already booked it, but if theres a case for an interview isnt the applicant generally interviewed?

well it doesnt really matter too much as long as we make sure we are together celebrating it whether it be India or Canada haha ;) not just me and her, but I hope we all reunite with our loved ones as soon as possible!!!

lol, yeah lets hope she doesnt get an interview but lets see like you said its very unpredictable and we dont have the slighest of idea as to what's going on with our files, it's upto God now .. btw I am going to India in November as our one year anniversary is in November so I am not too sad...
