i think you should inform the embassy that you are planning to work in abu dhabi and if it's ok to wait for the result there. Just send an email :)

My boyfriend got an email as well, telling him to send his passport. The embassy gave him only 5 days to comply. The waiting is over.. thanks to everyone who contributed to this forum. You've been an inspiration and a big help not only to us but for many. Hope more positive result will continue...

This will surely affect many. Hope they will not stop from processing other applicants not under LCP. :(
