Where are you landing exactly? In Ontario you have to wait 3 months, therefore some people obtain a special or travelers insurance for that time. In Alberta you get your health card within 10 days.

I have done my landing on 16th of September 2010 in Calgary. After two months, on 17th of November they send me a letter, that my photo was refused because of "poor quality". I didn't know what that exactly meens? After that they have refused again my two new photos in January and February...

I have never heard about that in case for imigrating to Canada!

Just as an information for you: I have submited all my documents only with certified translations, that means - without any notarization, and it worked. The Embassy wrote me after that to send them also the original copies of my police certificates (the one form Germany and from my Motherland)...

I would also like to hear any informations about this question...

As I said before, in my case I was asked during the IELTS exam if any other organisation does need also a certificate about my language test. I said, yes, please send it to my canadian imigiration office and they did it separetly. But in my package I have put an authorized copy of my IELTS test...
