Ok, mine was different, it did not mention about an initial number or a further AOR from them. "Dear Mr. xxxxxxx, Yes, it has been received in São Paulo, and her file number is Fxxxxxxxxxx. Sincerely / Atenciosamente" So, in this case, you are right to wait for it. Cheers!

We never received an actual AOR, I consider the email to be the AOR, because in fact this is all you need for AOR. ccbrasil also has the same I believe. Cheers!

As far as AOR, they are very helpful in Sao Paulo. You can just email them and they will let you know that the file has arrived. PNP posts are rare here, but theres a whole section of the forum dedicated to this. Boa sorte!

Excellent, now we need to have the status changed to "In Process", as far as I understand, Sao Paulo is good at changing the statuses. From my side, I have had medicals received since pretty much the beginning...so nothing new...just waiting for next step! Cheers!

Patience is a virtue for sure. You could call them and play innocent that you know nothing about the process, it is less formal than writing and email. If you want to be even less intrusive, you could request CAIPS notes or whatever they are called. If your husband is in Canada, it is free...

@shiftpro Thanks for the update! We are also hoping for a quick process, we also worked hard on the application (a year as well). I have talked to Sao Paulo and they have been very good, so that bodes well. Im hoping this gets approved so that my wife sees snow on arrival! Happy holidays too!
