Hubby got his passport back today!!!!!!! Landing on Thursday at midnight!!!!!! So beyond excited!!!!! What a long long long 22 months it's been but it all seems worth it now!!!To all of you still in the process...may you have the strength and heart to get through it...it will come to an end...

Thanks everyone!! @ MelJam - You are right I forgot to mention that part...they did ask him to submit a pre paid envelope. He wasn't asked for his passport during the interview...but they did ask him to re-do his medical at the interview. So we resubmitted those about the middle of October...

So hubby got an email Monday asking him to send in his passport as soon as possible....I'm think that means approval right? They didn't specifically say you've been approved...just please send in your passport....odd....does anyone know how long it takes to get passports back?

Hi Jojrob1, No they didnt. He had to resubmit his police check way back in February but no news until the call yesterday. Thanks everyone for the support and site!! It has calmed me down a lot!

So after 18 months! Hubby finally got a call yesterday for an interview on Oct 7. He was asked to bring his passport and proof of the relationship since the application was filed. Do they request interviews only when they have doubts in the relationship? Or do they request them randomly as...
