Hi so I went with option 1. Parent has to stay outside canada (in this case india) till supervisa processing is done. You can start the application for her in Canada online. She will need to send you some signed documents forms etc.

Supervisa was approved and stamped in India. They came to Canada on supervisa.

Everything worked out. Biometrics in India and supervisa from india then traveled to Canada on supervisa.

Yes she finally got supervisa also approved in Jan 2022 and is here now for 2 years. I don't know how much longer she has to live she is 70 this year. I'm pulling at straws to get her to stay here forever before its too late.

It is not there, I think it might be different when you apply through the portal.

My mum got update on portal, when I checked it only said application approved and the date, where does it say counterfoil generated? We are still waiting for update on VFS tracking.

My mum reapplied and got approved within 2.5 months. No one told us to apply or not. It was our choice.

We paid for courier service thru webform etc... but we didn't get any email with AWB. Blue dart showed up next morning but some info was wrong, so they are returning tomorrow. Can we still submit documents as is with AWB?
