I believe they should request documents when your file is in process. AOR is just an acknowledgement of receipt, usually docs are requested with passport or few days before that...

You can order CAIPS notes online these days .. Its basically information on file, for e.g. when docs were rec'd, file was created, file was transferred, and few more things. It doesnt give you a whole lot but you get basic idea of file and when it was processed. I ordered it to confirm the...
