Send them only when CIC asks. You might not receive any acknowledgement from CIC if you send it before they ask.

Did you get a request to get PCC from individual states? I submitted only one PCC for my overall stay in the US. I think its centralized as we cannot go to each state's police station to get a certificate. And FBI certificate is for your stay in the entire US and not for 1 state alone.

Just wanted to share the good news that the Xpresspost tracking # got activated- meaning my passports are on the way to me. And also the timeline of things happened after MR. I got my PPR on 11/7. Sent passports in Fedex with a Xpresspost envelope in it on 11/18. Received by CIC on 11/19...

If you have not gone for MR yet, talk to the hospital people. They usually have some kind of hotline number and they can fix it for you. But in addition to it, you might have to fill in the Family information form. You can download it from the CIC website. It should be easy.

I live in the US and as per other forum members we are looking @ 3-4 weeks to receive the passports from Canada to US. Not sure of other countries.

Re: Passport Expiry dates and Canadian PR stamp Chinook, 3 Months of time to get your PR card? What address would you give if you do not want to migrate there shortly after landing? A friend's address?

As per my experience with CPP-O, they have been working good. When this year's process started, CIC said, they are going to keep the processing within an year. Now looks like around 7-8 months after applying itself, things are clearing out. We should say this is pretty fast my friend. I guess...

Good news! I just received my PPR. If you see my profile, i submitted my application around May-9th. So, whoever have submitted applications in May, please watchout as in the next 1 or 2 weeks, you will receive PPR. But since my daughter's passport is in Indian consulate for a visa application...

Looks like it takes 3-4 weeks from the day of meds done. Usually the hospitals (e enabled) send the reports in a week's time. And then in 2-3 weeks CPPO asks for PPR. You can wait for another week or 2 and then email them and check with them.

Doesnt matter dude.. Canada will still give you PR provided all your docs are proper. They dont care if you have another Country's PR. Any number of countries will give you PR, but as scylla said, its just meeting their residency requirements will be the problem.
