I just got my PR card in the mail during the weekend. This process is finally and officially done! ;D ;D

Etobicoke office actually encouraged landed applicants to get their SIN immediately since there's a Service Canada kiosk in the same building downstairs.

Landed today. Interview was pretty straighforward. The only thing that kind of threw me off was them asking for my latest work permit. Luckily, I've always carried that with me. Thank you all for the support and updates. The process became that much easier because of this forum.

Thank you Sophieee. Your work keeps me sane :D For anyone wondering about the time it takes for medical to be sent. My doctor sent my medical in 2 days and CIC received it in a week. I followed up with my doctor like crazy, to the point where the front desk got annoyed because I kept asking...

Interview scheduled for September 14. I'm so glad this is almost over :D

Hi all, I got my SA and AIP yesterday. Asking for another medical. I'm an April 28th applicant.

I was able to log in to ECAS this morning and saw my application was received. April 2014 applicant. A bit of good news in this dark time, I guess.
