My husband has never lived in Canada, or been in Canada for that matter, so CIC did not request an ARC. But i do believe that that is one of the last steps for those needing an ARC right? Either way I hope you hear something soon!

That's good news! For us it took about a month and a half from the time we sent in the last documents CIC requested until my husband got his PPR. So hopefully the same happens to you!

Sorry to bother you Leisa but i have a question for you: Did your husband sign the COPR form back in Mexico or did he have to sign it upon entering Canada in front of an officer?

I sure hope not :( My husbands passport has been at the VO for almost 2 weeks now and they still haven't sent it back. I doubt that stamping a passport and mailing it back is time consuming for them...ugh this is so frustrating....!!

Just curious to know if anyone who lives in Mexico has tried calling the Visa office just to see what's going? It would be nice to know from them if they are processing family applications as well??

Thanks everyone! But i have a question for those who have sent in their passports already. My husband sent his passport using UPS since neither Fedex nor DHL offer prepaid airway bills from Guatemala to Mexico. In the PPR letter we received it says "Please include your file number next to your...

Hi Frida, well we sent in our documents on February 2012 and according to the tracking system it was delivered in Mississauga on February 8. However, for the first 6 months our documents were "misplaced" so it wasn't until 6 months later, in August, that they FINALLY found our application in...

We got PPR today! I hope this gives everyone else some hope. Even though there is a "strike" going on it seems as though they are still working on applications. We were requested additional documents on May 28, sent them in the first week of June, and now have FINALLY received PPR. I wish...
