yes she has 1 year insurance ... is it so that we can apply for extension before 30 days of expiry status?

Hope so .. they grant 2 year extension....

For how many times we can apply for extension of visa?? Any idea ... is there any limit?Do they extend it for 6 months only {in case of supervisa extention} In my case i dont see one positive point of applying as supervisa..it would have been better if we have applied for Visitor visa ...

hi .. they got supervisa with 10 year multiple entry but POE stamp 6 months stay only... she said u can apply for extension...

my parents reach canada... but they got 6 month visa only... we have given them letter etc.... but then also only 6 month visa... then whats the purpose of applying for supervisa....(Quite dishearten ) just want the advice what can be done after 6 month stay .. do they have to leave canada...

Thanks a lot.we have given them a letter with these information.They will be reaching tomm. Hopefully they get 2 year stay.FINGERS CROSSED..will update soon...

Timeline in our case was as follows passport submitted - 26 dec 2011 medical request - 4 jan 2012 remedical request - 24 jan 2012 visa issued - 22 feb 2012 Now let see what would be POE officer decision....

My parents got supervisa.My query is that do they need a return ticket as well while travelling.One of the agent told my father that they need to have return ticket with them while travelling... please give yr inputs

my mother was asked for second medical and after 16 days of submission we got the passport back with visa... it was mentioned in papers that passport has to be submitted after 5 days of medical exam

we applied on 26 dec 2011 and got visa on 22 feb 2012.

Update - My parents got the supervisa (Thanks to God) My father got 2 year visa(bcoz of passport expiration ) and mother got 10 years. Just wondering will my father has to apply again after 2 year... All the best for others .... Hope everyone get visa...(Ameen)

Can this happen that after getting visa , duration of visit can be shorten at POE

don't understand why there is long wait after 2nd medical exam? its being 14 days and no reply... can they still deny visa ...if reports are ok after second medical exam ??

My update submitted passport after second medical exam of my mother on 7 feb .. still waiting for reply..
