You can only renew PR card from canada. If you are outside canada and are maintaining your residency obligation, you can apply for a travel document to come to canada and then renew the PR card in canada.

Sent application May 2nd. Recd through canada post confirmation May 5th. Still nothing shows on line. I applied for normal processing though.

Hi Wilson. As per your explanation, then it should be (a). also by doing this. it will match the entry date stamps on the passport. The departure date and arrival date should be shown in history columns - "From" and "To". But for counting days of absence from Canada don't include both days.
