LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

DownTown, Toronto is the area for most of the IT companies. The rent paid at downtown for 1BHK is usually expensive over other parts of the city. You can chose East York, North York or Mississauga for cheaper alternatives. They are well connected by public transit. 1BHK I would say is about...

LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

100 minutes is more than sufficient for you to complete the transit formalities. You'd land most probably on Gate C, don't waste any time watching maps/boards etc but go straight to the area where a train leaves for Gate A. As I said earlier, it would take max 15 minutes for you to reach the...

True, at the first point at customs you can say no B4/B4A for now as you will bring them later. At the final customs repeat the same thing as I did.

Ranjit, Do you want risk traveling that far and not landing for not carrying POF? Please carry atleast 10K CAD and the rest you can show as investments. After you get the PR card and when u land the second time you'd be NOT going to the immigration section at all. It would be customs and...

LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

Risky I would say though many have landed successfully in the same manner as you wish for. Even for short landing why don't you get some funds in CAD or USD and sell them once you get back to your home country.

LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

Though local currency is preferred(the neighbor USD too), my guess is any currency above the POF limit should do good. As you can convert this once you land in Canada. However no matter what currency you carry the sum of all those if > 10K CAD must be declared.

LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

Had traveled via Heathrow a week ago and I would say it is the busiest airports that I have seen. If your transit is through Terminal 5, your initial flight would land on either Gate B or Gate C. You would have to take a train from Gate B/C to Gate A to complete the security. This whole process...

For a short landing do NOT volunteer yourself telling the officer(Immi) that you will be out soon. Just provide information if they ask.

No, the officers are very particular that this address will remain your permanent address for atleast 6 months. So I highly doubt they will accept a Hotel address. Give any of your friend's address and tell the officer thats gonna b ur address for long time to come

Better take 2K(10%) as cash and remaining 18K as TCs. No one can encash TCs except you as it needs your passport and signature. So the money in TCs are safe. You can take upto 100,000 USD per year as TC/cash. Thats the limit. I guess thomas cook guy meant the currency limit in USD. BTW...
