So a decision has been made on our file. Apparently they have approved the application, hence they've requested original passport. In the messages they've attached for us a passport letter request. Strangely they have no where in the letter mentioned that our application has been approved, only...

It would be at least 20-25 days before review even starts. I applied on June 10. No review yet.

Its 15th July 2018 in our case.

I received an email from cic today, titled "Visitor Acknowledgement Letter". Exactly similar to the one which someone reported here earlier. This comes after 25 days.

My wife's medical was done in March 2013 and is about to expire in about a week's time. What does NVDO usually do in such case? Do they ask for re-medical? In that case do they send back the passport for getting the medical done? If I am not wrong we need the passport to get the medical done right?
