you will be fine, we all had the same stress, there is no reason why shouldnt you be approved worst case we all go back and live with our partners where ever they are :)

But at the same time, it buys you a lot of time, everytime visa office asks for something you are behind by 2-3 weeks.

Your lawyer doesn't know the rules I guess, Yes most of us did the medical thingy way before applying. So you are better off doing it and not wait for the visa office to ask you

I have done all those, way before applying and paid all the fees right then, so I guess I should hear about my visa next week ? :)

Does anyone know any timeline between in process to passport request? I have seen some in this forum, within 3 months, does that sound right?

The thing is, even if they have gotten super busy, they can always bring some people to help them out, like they could have transferred the Syrian embassy employees along with the files and let them continue working on the files they were working on in Syria. But knowing Canadian gov so cheap...

Befa42, honestly no one knows exactly how long will it take to ask for passport, some are in two months some are in 5 months. so it all depends on what measures they take to assessing our file. But lets hope for the best.
