I did the same thing as you did. I didn't correct it and I successfully got my PR. In an additional sheet to explain the details of cohabitation, I clearly wrote 'start to cohabit on DDMMYYYY' and that's the date I put in the form as well. I don't think they saw my form as misrepresentation.
