Hi Ecoyo, This is definitely one of the things that may lead to getting an RQ. I received an RQ yesterday and I believe that it was due to a brief period of unemployment, during which I traveled. Good luck!

I just redid my residency calculation assuming that my unemployed months were spent out of the country (they weren't), and I would still qualify easily. I really hope they take a reasonable approach to this and don't send me an RQ and add four years to my wait.

Oh, Jeez. So, I was unemployed for a few months during the four years and indicated that on my application. That means I'll probably get RQed? I've been here since 2005 and just applied for citizenship in January 2012. I desperately hope that this doesn't mean that I'll have to wait...
