Received Oath invitation in mailbox today!!! Finally!! :D

umm! ::) That's confusing. I have received email 3.5 weeks ago to confirm whether I will join or not. I replied same day that I will join the ceremony. Next day I called them and confirmed. I still haven't received the letter yet and neither the ecas have been updated. Still worried on that part.

I live in Brampton, my test was in Toronto and oath ceremony in Borden. Has your friend received official oath invitation from IRCC/CIC in her mailbox?

First of all Congrats..! They definitely are accurate. They told me 4-6 weeks too. And got oath 5 weeks afters my test.

Is it necessary to wait 48 hours after we receive citizenship certificate to apply for canadian passport. Also when we are applying in person from passport office do we need to fill the form and go or is there any facility to fill the form there? I have my oath on June 9th at Borden, ON

As far as travel was concerned, I had ordered my outbound exits from cbsa long time ago but no point in ordering them now as its too late. Another thing you can do is take the photocopy of all the stamps from your passport. they asked me about them and good thing i had it. Don't worry about it...

My test was in Toronto. I was a mississauga applicant initially. Now oath in Borden. :) I have just received an email. But i'll receive a letter 2 weeks before my oath date

Finally the Wait ends here!!! I received my Oath ceremony on June 9th, 2016 In Borden at Canadian Forces Base. I received an email to which I was asked to reply. I replied positively to that email and also called the call center to confirm again. ;) ;) ;)

Finally.. Wait ends here!! I received my Oath taking ceremony for June 9th via email. I replied back on that same email confirming positively. Oath ceremony will be held in Borden at Canadian Forces Base at 8 am.

Great.. Now its time to study.. Study hard. The exam will be fairly easy if you read the books atleast 2-3 times. And solve online questions. From citizenshipcounts.ca and yourlibrary.ca.

One Question. I am a Toronto Applicant. When we received oath, Does the ecas updates with 5th point or it just substitute the test invitation and become 4th point itself?

Don't worry regarding ecas updates. It is just a medium to check our processing time. It is not 100% true all the time. We have to go by mails we receive from them in our mail box.

Once you all are inside the building. Everyone will sit for a while. Then a lady will come and ask you to line up according to that handwritten alphabets starting from letter 'A' till 'D'.
