I do have Canadian experience but from over ten years ago so I was no good as the principal applicant. We are outside Canada but applied through a lawyer in B C who was very pedantic on having complete paperwork. Single employer history any only one overseas police check. May this helps

Just got lovely news to start Easter. Turns out status change to IP2 was the same day as PPR mail but only got sent to the lawyer and not to us. We first applied back in 2008 so all good things come to those who waitl Good luck to all and maybe status changes aren't always predictable but the...

Any experience with medical inadmissibility? What is their limit?

    NOC 4012 - Research/Teaching Assistant questions

What about RA work overseas no TA, only two RA bullet points as matching. Not enrolled in any programme and some working in a university and some a medical research institute non university. Have academic publications relating to all projects some first author 2121 seems a postdoc code and 2221...

    NOC 2221 or NOC 4012

Hmmmmm, the advice was to put the term 'science research' into the quick search NOC tool and pick one of those codes. Only 2221 is even a vague match. 'Research' alone as the term brings up 2121, 2221 and 4012! Very confusing!

    NOC 2221 or NOC 4012

Similar dilemma. No PhD just a biology degree and masters. Do lab based research but no teaching! Duties match 4012 but I was not a student at any time. Had a work permit back in 2007 under 2121. Have written to noc for clarification and will let you know!

    Proof of Funds (Express Entry)

Dear KrytOn, I had an application in for six years which was never processed therefore would never misrepresent funds. A gift deed from my parents would be unencumbered and nothing to do with my finances. Where I live a line of credit is your home loan and everyday cheque and savings with...

    Proof of Funds (Express Entry)

Dear colleagues, Have just realised a line of credit home loan will not be accepted as POF. Should I switch the loan to a standard loan freeing up all the offset payments and show proof of this as a large deposit now available OR get a gift deed from my parents? Thanks and apologies if this is...
