Completed landing without any problem. Was asked only for passport, CoPR and the current Work Permit! IO kept the current WP and stapled the CoPR to the PPs. This forum has been a great source of support! I wish you all a very happy, successful and productive life in Canada! May Canada benefit...

Congrats! You may not have VISA pasted if you are from visa exempt country. Does CoPR have the photograph or any other info on it? There has to be some way to identify you on that paper. good luck with landing.

I am not an expert here, but I thought the current WP needs to be valid till one lands if applying under AEO. From what I have read on forums here, IO will ask for the current valid WP at POE. It might be best to check with CIC for your situation unless you find someone who has gone through...

Wondering if we really need to ask HR for new offer letter? Isn't Employment verification letter+pay-stubs good enough? I seriously doubt HR will be printing old offer letter with new date. I can definitely get an offer letter which is due after I land and become PR of Canada not before. I...

congrats all! please do write your landing experiences as you complete that last step. Is it mandatory to cross the border, or U-turn without US administrative refusal is fine? Would the IO on Canadian side ask for the US letter? thanks, amdee

congrats ghatot201! I hope this wraps up all waiting for PPR after DM status on this thread. A good week this has been! Folks who have mailed their passports: Did you verify or hear from CPC-O that they received your passports? I understand that canada post signature confirmation should be...

There are others in the same situation. You may want to write to CPC-O to inquire your application status or see if your local MP's office could help find the status for you (if you are in Canada). It's good to have some answer either way now that it's been more than 2 weeks. hope this helps. Amdee

I know its hard to look at the bright side, but I would rather have them do whatever processing they need without holding on to my passport. It's better to have passport back in a week or two rather than wait indefinitely for it.

I think eCAS updates are delayed by sometime, based on what I have seen in GCMS versus eCAS dates on medical. It could still be an automated system. But then again, your guess is as good as mine since we don't work for VO! :)

You are in luck with your MP. It seems likely that it will help your case. The last time I was told that MP office will not pressure IO, when all I really asked about was the status. So I am a bit reluctant on asking for MP's help. That doesn't mean I won't seek their help at all :), but in...

I would suggest requesting GCMS notes. I have already done for my case. I think, some applications are randomly flagged for PPR to be sent manually. It's possible they may want to look over the file once more (who knows). The queue is likely to be this manual queue and so there's really no timeline.

Congrats folks for PPR! It's interesting that folks received this in the night. Looks like an automated system sending out PPR. I seriously don't expect visa officer working so hard and late in the night :)!
