What they told me when I landed is that the COPR cert they put in your passport is fine for landings by car, as in you are driving yourself over the border. If you were traveling COMMERCIALLY (i.e. train, plane, boat or bus), you MUST have your travel certificate/PR card.

Its not what you want to hear, but alot of us that "just got our PPRs" have been waiting since early 2010. Honestly, nobody should count on this being a less then 6 month process going into it... its just unrealistic for the majority of people imo and sets you up for major heartbreak and insanity.

I got my initial assessment back in early July 2010. PPR March 9th. It seems completely random however to me, you'll see someone say 2 weeks, then someone like me whose time from assessment to finish is longer then other people took in total... go figure! :)

Sorry I meant how long from the time they received it til they chucked it back. :) Mine was mailed on the 11th (a Friday), and they signed for it on the Monday (the 14th).
