Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

guys, after more than three years of frustrating wait, I became a proud Canadian Citizen last Saturday. Looking back, my case is probably a bit "more interesting" than others. Not that my case is complicated in its basics but some other factors came into play. HERE ARE SOME TIPS AND EXPERIENCES...

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

I see. I think you can only start expecting oath after seeing " Approved" or " Granted". Good Luck.

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

there should be a section with " Judge's Decision" or something like that? what does it say there? Does it say " Approved" "Granted" or still "pending" ?

Feb 2014 test & interview passers

I think only CJs can decide if you will need a hearing. From what you provided, it looks like your file has been put back to RQ shelf for further assesesment and has not been forwarded to a CJ yet. What concern did the interviewer had at the time of your post-test interview? did she/he linger...

    ECAS

I would use either UCI (unique client Identification) or case umber, they should be quoted on any correspondence sent by CIC. Good Luck.

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

the only QRC related to CIC I could find online stands for " Query Response Center". It's a facility set up by CIC to verify PR status. I do not have it in my report, but according to current CIC practice, PR status abtained before 1973 needs to be verified by QRC. Not sure if it applies to your...

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

I have the same line in my report. It's probably refering to the document check and questioning session after the test. Have you taken your test yet? it's awefully long if you received the notice in Feb and have not taken the test till now.

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

I think 006007 is correct. Take a look at sections with something like " Granter's decision" ," Decisoin" or "CJ name". In my case, these are filled with " Approved" "Granted" and say..." John Doe" , along with " hearing not required". A "hearding not required" by itself probably means little...

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

Not sure if it is helpful but I have ordered 6 of them in total since I first started looking into ATIP report. Coincidence or not, in my last one, I did see a whole bunch of information ( or progress) added to the report on the same day I applied for it. I am only speaking from my experience, I...

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

Really Appreciate it,Canadiandesi2006.As a person who has gone through RQ and reached this far, I totally understand everyone's frustration. It's not the wait time, it's all the cloudy annoucements, operation bulletins and not-so-transparent operations that are killing us. Nobody like...

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

my trick is to read it line by line, try to pick up key sections and words. Don't worry about all those fancy codes. To me , the most important parts are at the begining and towards the end. Good luck.

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

hey guys, I would like to pick your brain on this: I seldomly call CIC call center since almost none of the feedbacks I have seen from this forum regarding call center are quite positive. But I've been ordering ATIP reports. It's a slower process , however, much less frustration from dealing...

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

I have the same lines in my ATIP report. In my case, the date matches the date on which CIC sent me the notice to prepare for my citizenship test ( not the actual test invitation). hope it may help.

ATIP Received - Hearing part - Confused

from what you have provided, there is no sign of RQ being issued. Mine has a specific line saying " RQ issued by CPC Sydney". No need to worry about it, at least for now.

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

I can't remember where I picked it up exactly but I am quite sure I saw this somewhere on CIC website that "ECAS would normally get an update on Tuesdays", once per week...so no need to stress yourself on it.

need advice on PR card renewal pls(citizenship app related)

thanks for your prompt reply, Msafiri. Yes, they are aware of that. The lady who interview me after the test did not raise any concerns on that, told me everything was fine on her side and she would pass my file onto a CJ. and I forgot to mention early that I am a memeber of the unfortunate RQ...

    1095 days in canada

I would definitely thnk so, but I remember a member's post : she made a mistake by overstating her residency by a whole year, she put 2011 instead of 2012, but that was an honest mistake...she came clearn on the test day and CIC didn't even realize it...the bottom line is: you got called to the...

    1095 days in canada

people make all kinds of mistakes on residence calculator, it's safe to leave some buffer zone, not to apply right after 1095 days. if you are short on the 1095 day requirement, CIC should give you a break if it is immaterial and unitentional, otherwise, you would most likely need to see a judge.
