no she has been getting health care coverage based on her visitor records, having sponsorship approval and PR application in process etc since last Oct. We updated her file when we got her COPR. This is in BC.- Canuckluvus

you can do either...you are not obligated to one option or the other. Your COPR form should have a deadline for landing and you can land either method as long as it is before the deadline.- Canuckluvus

you can't apply for sponsorship until after you get married because I don't think you can prove common law status because you both haven't lived together continuously for a long enough period of time. As well, you can't change from Outland to inland in the application process. If you apply...- Canuckluvus

my wife is US citizen so all she needed to get in US again was her US Passport and to return her US passport and her COPR. If your spouse isn't US citizen I'm not sure what u need to flagpole.
