Hi gokkalai You are really lucky person having a passport valid for 20 years. We amy say it a life time one. I think other countries should also adopt this long term passport policy to facilitate their citizens and reduce burden in the concerned offices.

It seems good that as per recent changes if an applicant does not qualify her/his application will be sent back with full refund. It means applicant will not wait for a couple of years for the final decision of ones application. It will enhance processing of immigration process.

The applicant has to show personal bank account with the required money. That is the only proof of financial resources. Even if you are single a bank account maintained by yourself is required to submit.

How did you calculate your 16 score for English language? Out of total (24), 8 are for french and remaining 16 are for English.
