Good Afternoon, I had exactly same situation, My parents did visitor visa extension medical in Feb and received medical request for PR on May 16th. I emailed CIC(Ottawa Office) and told them the situation, they told me, they will use the results from Feb and we do not have to do medical again...

We received an email yesterday evening for medical request.

My parents received the medical request yesterday from Ottawa. But my parents did medical in January 2018 to extend their stay as visitor in Canada. Do they have to redo the medical or we can ask doctor office to send results from January?
