My kids got AOR today (May 1). I sent the application on Apr 4.

ok, I have sent in a postal application, and I just have a Canada post tracking number/receipt. I will call BLS again tomorrow to confirm.

I just called BLS and the person told me that I need my Canadian Passport copy for Indian passport surrender & I can surrender my Indian Citizenship within 3 years of acquiring Canadian citizenship. It seems a bit odd. Could someone who has undergone this whole ordeal help me with understanding...

done with the oath yesterday. had to wait in the virtual breakout room for about 45 mins - 1 hour till all the participants' details were verified. The actual ceremony itself was done in 30 mins. Canadian! yay!

I have completed the citizenship test & all status of all the activities have been updated to completed (test status updated to completed on Dec 10, everything else on Dec 22). Citizenship ceremony is yet to be scheduled. Do we have to memorize the oath of citizenship ?
