    Anyone who is waiting for news on their visa and passport, I would suggest asking your MP to find out for you. I asked my local MP to contact SVO yesterday and got a reply today. SVO will be sending my wife's passport to her this week :D

    You should inquire IOM about sending passport with DHL or FedEx. We wasted 2 weeks waiting for them and decided to use DHL instead.

    You should send your passport and documents by DHL or FedEx to be safe. They will provide you with a tracking number to track your package. It usually takes 3 days to mail the documents from HCMC to Singapore.

    The only red flag that I know of is we didn't have the traditional engagement ceremony. But I do know it's quite common for local couples to skip the engagement ceremony altogether.
