I found similar line in my ECAS too. They touched our file after 8-9 months and thats the update they have to give!!!. Really frustrating

Hi all, I have a bad news. I called CIC half an hour ago. And they informed they have new update came to them that they are going to add another 4 months as processing time. Still no update. Everytime I called call centre, they just said it is under processing. I think for CEC applicant they are just waiting so that we need to apply for bridging work permit. It is more money for them. They will get double money for single file processing. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Another week have been passed. I know getting PR is a privilege. But we have paid about 1000 dollar to do the processing and atleast we deserve transparency on the process. Giving no update for 8 months is just unacceptable. CIC should not be treating the applicant like shit.

I have applied June last year. Medical done last february. GCMS notes indicate they haven't touched my file in last 7 months. I called CIC today and they don't even bother to look at my profile. Losing hope. I may have to lose my job because of this delay
