Your visa means nothing once you become a PR. you'd have to apply for the travel document while travelling to Germany. Lastly, CoPR only works when traveling between US and canada by a non-commercial vehicle

It's nice to have it but is not a must. What's more important is to have job description that matches your NOC code. I didn't have NOC code on my reference letter and it was never a problem during the application process.

The best case scenario for you was to land on your way back to canada after your trip. But it's too late for that now and there's nothing you can do. You'd have to apply for a travel document while you're visiting your home country, however it also depends on how long you'll be staying. So...
