Thanks :D Yes they did request additional police clearance from Mexico. But we had already asked for it in advance knowing cic would probably ask for it and CIC received a week or so after they sent us ppr. We emailed it a couple of times with my husbands passport copies asking if they needed...

Finally COPR :) arrived Yesterday :D My husband will be landing first week of August! so exciting! We are thinking that he will fly here with a few belongings and then in a future date he will bring the rest of his belongings (including the car). Hopefully it won't be a problem if he writes it...

I am a December applicant too and I had the same issue when trying to find out about my husband application through the cic call centre. They said the only way to communicate to the visa office was through email. They were not very responsive at the beginning but after a few emails they did get...

Congrats! :) Usually decision made comes after PPR but I have read cases were they don't ask for PPR and they just finalize the application ;) And Ecas doesn't always change either.

The first email we didn't receive a response. The second was sent on July 7 and they responded July 10.

OH ok I just wished they would have been more clear on the matter like yes it was approved and COPR has been mailed! I feel like sending them another email hehe... but I guess we will just wait two weeks anxiously. Thank you Yellowrose

That is good to know.. I was just confused because they asked us to send the passport copies with the Mexican police certificate.. so we just emailed them saying here are the passport copies and we sent the request for the mexican police certificate 2 months ago... have you received it yet...
