Isn't it kind of strange that CPP-Ottawa would reject an applicant based on the fact that work experience does not match the NOC?! I mean how did Sydney office accept it and consider that it matched the NOC and afterwards Ottawa office says it doesn't!!! Any explanation guys?!

That's what happened with me. But I think I read on this thread an earlier post that someone was asked to submit another letter and got his/her PER. Not sure though!

As far as I know that universities in Ontario exempt students from international fees if they receive their PER.

I'm sorry you got rejected and like you I think it is a good thing you got to know early and not wait for so long... Yup they do work fast sometimes, i got the rejection email on the same day that they started processing my application! :o I just wish they could be that fast in acceptances too!

I was refused because of work experience and I was not refunded. Their reason was that I failed in the selection process, which as I understood is when they check your documents (work experience, proof of funds, etc...)

I just wanted to make sure that if someone can only prove his TA experience will not be rejected under this NOC because he doesn't have any RA experience. What do you think?

Re: Urgent help I don't know an answer to your questions, perhaps one of the seniors could help you. You could order a CAIPS report to know what they have on the system for you both... Although, I would think that they would have a record of all the applications and requests you've made...

Wow! I think it is getting harder and harder to satisfy the officers! You may be doing the exact same duties listed in the NOC, but it is a matter of how you list it to the officer to convince him that you are actually doing that! Sorry to hear about the rejection, it's a waste of time, effort...
