    Accessing forms on a Mac

When we try to download some of the forms on the CIC site, we get a message saying our version of Reader needs updated, only to get the same message after the update. Anyone else get this?

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Morning all, We (me and my Scots/Irish wife) are about to embark on this journey and have encountered the first of probably many questions. We live in Belfast and there's nowhere in Northern Ireland does the medical. Would she be grand doing it in Dublin? Or does she have to go across the...

    Liberal Immigration Policy

Posted this in the general section as well, so apologies for the double post. Anyway I noticed this in the Liberal platform: Granting immediate permanent residency to new spouses entering Canada, rather than imposing a two-year conditional status that puts spouses – often women – in a position...

    Liberal Immigration Policy

In the Liberal statement, it reads: Granting immediate permanent residency to new spouses entering Canada, rather than imposing a two-year conditional status that puts spouses – often women – in a position of extreme vulnerability. Does anyone know if that's just for applications from certain...

Citizenship Certificate for child born in UK

Hi, I applied for my daughter's citizenship certificate in Jan 2013 and have yet to receive it. Realise that's not unusual, but my son's took just over a year. Anybody else in the same boat?

Child born to a Canadian Citizen outside Canada

Kind of a random question. I'm Canadian and both my children were born on Belfast. I applied for my son's citizenship certificate a little over a year ago and should be getting it within a month or two (I was told to expect it to take 15 months). Anyway, I applied for daughter's last week and...

    Northern Ireland licence in Alberta

Hello all, My wife and I are considering moving from NI to Alberta and have noticed the reciprocal arrangement with UK driving licences doesn't extend to Northern Ireland. Anyone know why this is and how it could, um, be worked around?

    Children?

Here's a funny coincidence. Out of the blue this morning, I got an email from the Canadian embassy in London saying that my son's file was being looked at by a case processing officer.

    Children?

Cheers for that and for all your replies. Also, I applied for my son's citizenship on November 2011. I haven't heard anything since they returned his and my birth certificates. I emailed the embassy in London and they told me since it wasn't 15 months I shouldn't worry. Also, when I check online...

    Children?

Hi there. My wife and I are thinking of applying for her PR. I was born in Canada and have lived in Belfast for 12 years. My (UK citizen) wife and I have been married for four years and we have two children. I applied for my eldest's citizenship a year ago so his should be sorted by the time we...
