    Are you still working ? I think so otherwise it would make things harder for you to get your PNP nomination. Then if you are still working for the employer mentioned on your work permit (if you don't have an open permit) it should not be difficult to extend it.

    Yes, it has happened in several cases, including mine. E-case has been updated only after I got my passport back. In a way I don't blame them, I'd rather have them work on concrete stuff rather than wasting time updating E-case, don't you think so ?
